Big but not strong

"Compared with the world's large tire companies, Shandong tire enterprises have a big gap in production capacity, output and sales." For example, Zhang Hongmin said that at present, the production capacity of world large tire companies such as Bridgestone, Michelin and Goodyear has reached more than 200 million, but the overall production capacity of Linglong tire company with the largest output in Shandong is only 20% of Goodyear. The total sales of the top six tire enterprises in our province is only 1 / 3 of the respective sales of Bridgestone, Michelin and other companies.

Moreover, compared with the foreign advanced level, our province has more medium and low-grade tires and less high-end tires.

It is worth mentioning that there are 55 professional tire testing sites in the world. Large foreign tire manufacturers also have. However, so far, Shandong has not built a tire test site for tire enterprises or third-party institutions, and there is no way to talk about the actual site test data, performance evaluation, technical improvement and other test tests of tires, which seriously restricts Shandong tire products from supporting world-famous automobile brands.

Relevant statistics show that China's car ownership per 1000 people is only 1 / 10 of that of developed countries. The International Rubber Research Organization (IRSG) predicts that the demand for tires in the global market will show a strong growth trend in the next 10 years, most of which will come from China and India.

According to Ji kuijiang, the global tire industry will develop in the direction of intensification, globalization, automation, informatization, greening and intelligence. The transformation and upgrading of Shandong tire industry should also follow this trend.

According to the implementation plan for the transformation and upgrading of Shandong tire industry, our province will guide seven backbone enterprises such as triangle, Linglong and Sailun to take Bridgestone and Michelin as research benchmarks and become stronger and bigger through technology upgrading, resource integration, supporting cooperation, merger and combination, etc. By 2020, its output will account for more than 65% of the whole province, and the proportion of green tire products will reach more than 60%. We will strive for two tire enterprises to reach the top 10 tire enterprises in the world.

At the same time, support Qingdao University of science and technology, national rubber and tire engineering technology center and other units to strengthen the research and development of new technologies and processes, explore the "green tire automatic production process technology", and continuously improve the performance indicators of passenger radial tire, light truck radial tire, truck radial tire and engineering radial tire. In addition, Shandong will also speed up the construction progress of the approved tire test sites of Dongying Guangrao and Linglong group, and strive to put them into use as soon as possible.

"In the future, Shandong Province will also formulate tire brand cultivation plan and tire industry access conditions, and formulate green tire product support policies and green tire certification methods. In particular, it is necessary to establish a regular evaluation system for this implementation plan, so as to effectively promote the transformation and upgrading of Shandong tire industry."
